Ki-jong, a young girl living in a redevelopment area in the heart of Seoul, must learn to care for herself and her younger brother after their mother abandons them.
Ki-jong, a young girl living in a redevelopment area of Seoul, has to take care of her little brother by herself because her mother who could not stand her alcoholic and violent husband any longer finally left home. The girl misses her mom and these longings make her childhood sad and desolate. She meets an old man who is fed up with his sons and daughters quarreling because they want his money and all he does is recyclables pick up. Ki-jong and the old man run together hand in hand with all their might at her school sports day, which seems to help them recover their own broken family love. The short film tries to sincerely examine the 'family' as one of today's converged issues in Korean film with a sympathetic view. (KIM Sunah)
