| A Happy Eventis a film that presents the notion that certain attributes we associate with motherhood, such as sacrifice, patience, inexhaustibility and other motherly qualities are not necessarily innate to motherhood nor do they come naturally. After the screening, there will be an opportunity to discuss parenting not only as a mom's or a couple's issue. |

2. Like Stars on Earth – Education that Respects the Uniqueness of All Children

| Ishaan of the film, Like Stars on Earth, is troubled because he is not able to easily adapt in class like other children. Ishaan's disability and talent could not be found in the current standardized and oppressive educational system. Through this work, the audience is provoked to engage in the issues concerning our current educational system and how parents, schools and society should react to strive for an ideal educational system that could better accommodate our children. |
